Voluminous Surface with Brennen Buck
In collaboration with Kate Thatcher

Designed as a repeatable system, the striated and transparent areas of the surface created by the opposing vanishing points on either side of the wall, modulate both view and light. The surface is constructed from double-wall, two sided corrugated cardboard that was laser cut and layered. The tiles are attached to a continuous middle layer creating a light baffle for top lit spaces or a backup to a curtain wall system. The stacked layers create sensations of both blur and focus as one move past.
